Cafe

We run a simple cafe selling excellent coffee, delicious cakes and light meals during our opening hours. If you are a passing walker or cyclist we can make you a pack lunch for your adventure. Feel free to linger while you decide which books you cannot live without. Coffee is made on our lovely red Gaggia machine, cakes are made either by us or by our friend Alice, and at the moment lunches might be freshly made baps, homemade soup or quiche.

There are vegan and gluten-free options available, including herbal teas, oat milk and gluten-free cakes.

If you are bringing a large group, we will be able to offer better service if you phone ahead to warn us!
