August Book Group

Join us for our monthly book group, a relaxed and friendly opportunity to chat about books and meet fellow book enthusiasts.

This month we have not one, not two, but three books to choose from! For fantasy lovers, we are reading Rosaria Munda's Fireborne, the first book in a YA trilogy that has had some fantastic reviews. If historical fiction is more your bag, then we are reading Anne Keer's The Wildness, in preparation for her author event with us on 21 August. And finally, if you want to catch up on your classics, then we have chosen Lorna Doone, a classic love story and adventure set on Exmoor.

Depending on group size we will either break out into book-specific groups to really get into the detail, or will talk about all three books together. You are welcome to read one or more (or none), and to buy the book(s)…
