August Supper Club: Food Hero Jamie Oliver

Yes, it's true, we really do love Jamie Oliver. He burst onto the food scene as the Naked Chef around the time that we were learning to cook for ourselves, a similar age to us and a change from stuffier chefs with his fresh young energy, regional accent and bright ideas. Since then he has turned into a national institution, selling millions of cookbooks and homewares, opening (and closing) restaurants, and trying to improve dinners in schools. Polly particularly has cooked from many of his books over the years, right from those early days, all the way through to the timed meals collection, and she swears by Jamie's recipes, many of which have become a part of daily life in her household.
